Creativity runs through her family’s blood - both her mother and grandmother have been personal inspirations influencing her design style. Her grandmother was a seamstress and would design and sew gowns for events & festivals, for friends and family. She was either learning something new from them or they were supporting her many hobbies as a kid, including her interest in making jewelry.

In 2020, God placed the vision of Refineri on her heart, but as she reflected on previous years, she knew that He had been cultivating this vision within her long before.

When she was caught up in chasing worldly pleasures, God never stopped pursuing her with His relentless love. His pursuit led her to a place of repentance, where He began to transform her heart and renew her purpose. It was during this transformative season that God, in His goodness, was weaving Refineri into her being - shaped by the fires of her personal journey of refinement.

She's now living in San Antonio (although originally from San Diego), married to her best friend, and following His light in designing beautiful pieces that serve as a reminder of Him and His goodness.
